Celebrating our local apple heritage, our cider is made from 100% fresh-pressed Okanagan apples. It’s where quality fruit leads to a quality product that’s all-natural and gluten-free.

The Okanagan is steeped in fruit growing history. It goes back to the 1800s. Back then, orchards were for personal use but in 1890, the first commercial orchard popped up. Our first orchard dates to the early 1900’s when the commercial boom was in full swing. If you know anything about Okanagan families, you will know the Ritchie family. They built our packinghouse in 1936 to accommodate moving apples across the province. That’s almost a century ago!

In 2016, the original 85-year-old packinghouse was repurposed to produce our cider and we then added our manufacturing area and tasting room. In June 2016, we opened our doors and the rest is history. Producing authentic, artisanal ciders for people who love complex and engaging.

MEET THE TEAM

Cider-making with lasting memories.

When the Sebastian’s and the Johal’s pressed their first apples, they knew they had something great. Meet Caroline Sebastian and Marina Johal, the principals and cider makers of our cidery. As soon as you pop the top and take your first sip, it’s their time to shine. Their passion runs strong when it comes to cider and their pairing knowledge too. We’ve heard that Peary paired with Charcuterie is a favourite among these two beauties, but you will have to guess who, or better yet, try it for yourself!

Caroline and Marina couldn’t do what they do without Taylor Sebastian, who handles the growing and managing of the orchards. He ensures that every crisp apple delivers to its fullest. And then we have Harv Johal, the operations and distribution guy. He gets the word out and test-tastes all the ciders. Whoa, not a bad gig at all.

OUR ORCHARDS

Our orchards have roots going back 85 years.

The Okanagan is well known for its climate – it’s perfect for fruit production. Ambrosia, Honeycrisp, and Gala, as well as some other proprietary varieties, fill our 20 acres of land. We imported the scion wood in the grafted rootstock of some of our specific cider apples. Some of these include the likes of Dabinette, Michelin, Winesaps, and Winter Banana. These heirloom varieties bring out the complexities of the apple making it ideal for cider making.

OUR PROCESS

green arrow

Cider-making with lasting memories.

Our process involves using locally sourced apples from our orchards. We grow both dessert and cider apples and our ciders are all-natural and gluten-free. The apples are carefully selected and pressed off-site. All other steps take place at our cidery which includes fermentation, storage, bottling, and labeling. It’s a lot of work, with a whole lot of tasting, but we love what we do.
