Cidermaker's Select Haskapple is in!
Made from Haskap berries (also commonly referred to as honeysuckle, or honeyberry) blended with a variety of local apples. Haskap berries are tart with a slight sweetness. Many will taste notes of blueberry, blackberry, black currants, and raspberry, but we personally like to think of it as a mixed berry. While haskap berries are new to the BC region they seem to flourish in our climate. We source our haskap berries from the Kootenays here in BC. In this cider, the berries and apples are co-pressed and co-fermented, creating a true quality flavor. This cider also gets double fermented, making the cider have a tart sour berry finish. It is our newest release and will be available while supplies last!
